About Us
Established in 2008, the Save Our Chinatown Committee (SOCC) is a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to protect
Riverside’s Historic Chinatown from development that is incompatible
with archaeological preservation.

We conduct historical research,
engage in preservation advocacy, and present educational programs.
Our long-term goal is to establish a Chinatown Memorial Park at the
National Register site.
